We are learning about Economics in Social Studies, and marketed, sold, made, and packaged hundreds of flower pens on our first factory day, Friday, January 29. Everyone had a designated job in our factory, and also helped out wherever needed. We met all of our deadlines! We are donating our profits to charity. Each class is adopting an animal at the Houston Zoo, to help with its care and feeding. All of the remaining proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
